'Civilians killed, wounded or displaced a daily occurrence in DRC' - humanitarian agencies
An estimated 400 civilians have been killed and 83 000 displaced from the gold-rich Ituri province in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in 2022, humanitarian agencies say. The United Nations' Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said "civilians being killed, wounded or displaced have become a daily occurrence".
