Man trampled to death by elephant in Zimbabwe while taking selfie
A man has reportedly died in Zimbabwe while trying to take a selfie with elephants. The elephant that charged at him was one of several that had escaped from a conservation area in central Zimbabwe.
The man was gored and dragged several metres by a large elephant before being trampled to death.
Popular Rwandan rapper dies in custody
A popular Rwandan rapper known as Jay Polly died in custody early on Thursday, officials and media reports said, the second detained musician to die in mysterious circumstances in less than two years.
Polly, whose real name was Joshua Tuyishime, was being held on drugs charges and had found out on Wednesday that he was due to stand trial in December - eight months after his arrest.
Saadi Gaddafi, son of former Libya leader, freed from jail
Libyan authorities have released Saadi Gaddafi, son of the former leader Muammar Gaddafi who was deposed and killed during a 2011 uprising, according to media reports.
The former professional footballer was accused of crimes committed against protesters in 2011 and of the 2005 killing of Libyan football coach Bashir al-Rayani.
In Hoske, a village in Nepal, almost everyone has sold one of their kidneys. The practice is so common that the village has been nicknamed "Kidney village".
Some of the villagers were tricked 😔into selling when they were told by traffickers their kidneys would grow back.
A 37- year old woman and her husband traveled to a hospital in India and were paid £1,300 to have their kidneys removed.
