In Hoske, a village in Nepal, almost everyone has sold one of their kidneys. The practice is so common that the village has been nicknamed "Kidney village".
Some of the villagers were tricked 😔into selling when they were told by traffickers their kidneys would grow back.
A 37- year old woman and her husband traveled to a hospital in India and were paid £1,300 to have their kidneys removed.
