Our CEO and founder, Calvin Martyr coined and promoted the campaign #BlackOutDay2020 after raising the idea in a viral video that has been shared thousands of time on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter in May of 2020.
The objective of #BlackoutDay2020 was to force politicians and the business world to end institutionally racist policies and practices that have led to the deaths and marginalization of Black Americans.
